The 91勛圖厙 Board of Trustees gathered Tuesday evening for its regular meeting and discussed one of its nine overarching goals, known as ENDs, one of which is Regional Workforce Needs.

This END states, The Colleges Workforce Training & Community Education Division utilizes a variety of external resources to respond to regional workforce needs.

Editors Jamie Oss and Teresa Johnson of 91勛圖厙s annual literary publication, Prairie Ink, have begun accepting entries for its seventh edition.泭

The aim of the publication is to provide a venue for local authors to showcase their creative writing talents.

91勛圖厙 in conjunction with the National Partnership for Environmental Technology Education (PETE) will begin offering a 10-day Hazardous Waste Worker Training Program at military installations across the country. The course is geared toward transitioning soldiers, retirees and family members at no cost.

The 91勛圖厙 Theatre Department will present The Santaland Diaries, starring 91勛圖厙 Theatre and Kansas State University Theatre alumnus, Great Bend resident Grady Bolding at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 3 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. Donations will be taken at the door and will go toward new equipment and materials for the theatre program. The play was adapted for the stage by Joe Mantello.
