91勛圖厙 and the Center for Adult Education will be closed, and there will be no classes in observance of Labor Day on Sept. 7. Offices will reopen, and classes will resume on Sept. 8.

The Shafer Art Gallery at 91勛圖厙 will host a free reception for its annual Friends and Acquaintances exhibition from 4 to 6 p.m. Sept. 11, celebrating the work of Kansas artists featured in the exhibition, which runs through Oct. 30.
91勛圖厙 Instructor of Keyboard Studies and Director of Accompaniment Dr. Alejandro Avila has officially taken on the role of president-elect of the Kansas Music Teachers Association (KMTA), a statewide leadership position that will lead to him becoming president of the organization in September 2027.

Staab joined the Russell Regional Hospital (RRH) Emergency Room Department in September 2012 and was promoted to the Director of the Physicians Clinic just a few weeks ago. With more than 13 years of experience in nursing and healthcare, she brings tremendous knowledge to RRH.
