The 91勛圖厙 Foundation has announced the creation of the Lily Akings Legacy Scholarship, a fund established to honor the long-time 91勛圖厙 County Health Department Director and her remarkable commitment to public health in 91勛圖厙 County. The scholarship recognizes Akings' years of service as a nurse, leader, and advocate for the well-being of the region she cared for so deeply.

The Shafer Art Gallery will host an opening reception for Go Figure, a new exhibition drawn entirely from the 91勛圖厙 Foundations permanent collection highlighting artwork focused on the human form in a wide range of artistic expressions, from 46 p.m. Jan. 16 in the gallery and will include light refreshments.
