Acting enthusiasts are welcome to audition for the upcoming 91勛圖厙 Theatre student production of Drugs Are Bad by Jonathan Rand. Auditions are scheduled for 5-6:30 p.m. October 9 and 10 in the 91勛圖厙 Fine Arts Auditorium in the Fine Arts Building. The play requires two male actors and one female.

The 91勛圖厙 Theatre Department will present Harvey at 7:30 p.m. Oct. 5 and 6, with a matinee at 2 p.m. Oct. 7 in the Fine Arts Auditorium on campus. Tickets are $5 at the door; students admitted free.

91勛圖厙 will offer transitioning Fort Sill Soldiers, and family members with DOD ID cards, a grant-funded two-week certificate program at no cost to participants.

The Hazardous Waste Worker (HWW) program gives Soldiers credentials to help them find work after their tenure in the US Army ends. The next course is set for October 15-26 at Truman Education Center, B3281, Fort Sill, Okla.

The proceeds from items sold, underwriters, program ads and ticket sales netted more than $40,000 at the 40th Annual Big Benefit Auction in late August, which was themed Clownin Around. Funds raised benefit students directly through scholarships and program enhancements at 91勛圖厙.

Executive Director of Institutional Advancement Coleen Cape said she feels fortunate to have reached the foundation's goal.
