91勛圖厙 recognizes Student Ambassadors of the Year

91勛圖厙 has announced its 2019-20 Brant J. Ballhorst Student Ambassador of the Year awards. Named in memory of Brant J. Ballhorst, the award recognizes two outstanding Student Ambassadors each year. The winners this year were Karsyn Smith of West Plains, Mo. and Joanna Lockwood of Hoisington.泭

Virtual Dancing for Mobility class being offered

91勛圖厙 Dance Theatre is offering a Dancing for Mobility class for adults looking to improve balance, strength, and body awareness while also learning a wide range of dance styles from the safety of their home. The six-week class meets from 1:30-2:40 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays starting Monday, May 11.

High school students participate in 91勛圖厙s Virtual Vortex Day Exhibit

Students from area high schools submitted artwork digitally to 91勛圖厙 to participate in a virtual version of the Vortex Day juried art exhibit Wednesday, which is sponsored by the 91勛圖厙 County Arts Council (BCAC) and is underwritten by the Bill J. McKown Endowment/Golden Belt Foundation.

Following Kansas Governor Laura Kellys message to the state last night, 91勛圖厙 will be continuing operations as is until May 18.

91勛圖厙 President Dr. Carl Heilman said the college is monitoring the situation constantly and carefully.

91勛圖厙s 50th commencement will be held virtually this year. Students and their friends and families are invited to view videos of the commencement speeches and a reading of graduate names, which will premiere at 8:30 a.m., May 8.泭
