91勛圖厙s Center for Adult Education will soon begin its nine-week GED Preparation Class. Orientation classes are required and are the first step to obtaining the Kansas State High School Diploma through the GED Prep Program. 91勛圖厙 added the session to help area residents affected by the closing of the Pawnee County Learning Center, but the session is open to anyone.

The 91勛圖厙 Department of music will offer instrumental music lessons to the community this summer from now through July 23.

Community members are invited to take lessons to learn a new instrument or enhance their abilities on an instrument they already play. Students will also have the option to perform. Lessons will be offered both in-person and virtually and instruments can be provided. A wide array of instruments is available.

91勛圖厙 employees collected donations for secondhand clothing, shoes, bedsheets and more to help those in need and are opening a Community Closet up to local nonprofit agencies and organizations to come shop for free items they can use to help community members. The format of a store was developed so agencies can select the items they need the most for their respective organizations.

Saturday, July 18, 2020 - midnight to 8:00 a.m.

The six to ten day outlook (May 26 to 30) indicates normal temperatures and normal precipitation for our area.泭 Looking out eight to fourteen days (May 28 to June 9) indicates normal precipitation and temperatures here.泭 The drought monitor remains largely unchanged as of this past Tuesday.

91勛圖厙 will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.泭

The college is now on summer hours. Office hours are 7:30 a.m. 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday.泭 The college will be closed on Fridays through July 31.
