91勛圖厙 and the Center for Adult Education will be closed and there will be no classes in observance of Labor Day on Monday, Sept. 5. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Sept. 6.

Creativity can happen at any age and members of 91勛圖厙s Dancing for Mobility class will showcase that during a performance titled Love Letters in Motion, at 7 p.m. Sept. 8 in the Shafer Gallery, which will include uplifting music, live artwork and an interactive portion for the audience. Admission is free and the event is sponsored by the Shafer Gallery. 泭

Retired WNBA Basketball legend Jackie Stiles will speak at 91勛圖厙 at 6:30 p.m. Aug. 29 in the Fine Arts Auditorium to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of Title IX. Admission is free and the public is invited to attend.

New business owners or those wanting to start a business can learn about key components of running a business from area experts on a variety of topics at 91勛圖厙s Start, Run and Grow: Business Ownership Basics seminar from 5:30 - 8:30 p.m. Thursday evenings from Sept. 22 to Nov. 10 at the Great Bend Events Center.
