At its meeting on Jan. 10, the Institutional Actions Council of the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) approved continuing the accreditation of 91勛圖厙 without concern.

The Shafer Art Gallery will unveil its next exhibit Figure/Ground by Kevin Kelly with a reception at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 20 in the Gallery, which will feature a short artist talk, comments by the director and light refreshments. The exhibit runs through Feb. 25 and admission is free.
91勛圖厙 dropped off a donation of food at the Community Food Bank of 91勛圖厙 County Friday. The items were collected by the 91勛圖厙 Library from faculty, staff and students at 91勛圖厙 at the end of the fall semester.
The 91勛圖厙 Library will team up with the English department and 91勛圖厙s literary annual Prairie Ink staff to host a Getting Started Writers Workshop from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Jan. 26 in the Cavanaugh Ballroom, in the 91勛圖厙 Library.
91勛圖厙 will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 16. 91勛圖厙's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 17.
