The 91勛圖厙 Music Department will present a student recital at 4 p.m. November 20 in the Dorothy Moses Morrison Chapel, which is located in the Fine Arts Building.

The 91勛圖厙 Fine and Performing Arts Department invites泭the community to enjoy nostalgic, holiday-themed entertainment at its annual Holiday Concert at 7:30 p.m., Dec. 2 in the Fine Arts Auditorium.

The Holiday Concert is a great event to bring the whole family to, Director of Instrumental Activities Dr. Luis Palacios said. Families can expect to have a great time enjoying the arts and connecting with the community.

Musicians can become a professional performer with a college music degree, but there are more options out there for people who want to work with music every day but may not necessarily want to be a performer.

91勛圖厙 dance class students will present "Dancing Around the World" at 7 p.m. Nov. 13 in Studio 34 on the southeast corner of the 91勛圖厙 campus. Admission to this event is free. However, a free-will donation at the door is appreciated to help fund student dancer travel and costumes. Refreshments will be served.

Tickets and sponsorships are now available for the 91勛圖厙 Jingle Bell Swing Big-Band Holiday Dance Fundraiser, where guests can enjoy dancing and music by a live big band from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7 at the Best Western Angus Inn Courtyard, 2920 10th Street. Heavy hors doeuvres and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.

91勛圖厙 Theatre students will present the classic tale of Alice in Wonderland, at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 3 in the 91勛圖厙 Planetarium in the Science Building. Seating is limited to 50. The show is free and open to the public and the runtime is about an hour.

One thing we all have in common as human beings is the need to maintain our bodies, which is easier said than done if not armed with knowledge of how to listen to our bodies and address its physical requirements in a healthy way. Heather Panning, 91勛圖厙s new Health, Physical Education & Recreation Instructor, is on a mission to make sure 91勛圖厙 students are well equipped to take care of themselves after college.

The 91勛圖厙 Instrumental Music Department will present its annual fall concert at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 21 in the Fine Arts Auditorium. A short Question and Answer reception that discusses the history of music in films will be held just outside the auditorium at 7 p.m. There will also be free popcorn to enjoy before the show.
