91³Ô¹ÏÍø will be closed for Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, Jan. 17. 91³Ô¹ÏÍø's Center for Adult Education and the Shafer Art Gallery also will be closed. Offices will reopen and classes will resume on Tuesday, Jan. 18.
As of January 4, from 91³Ô¹ÏÍø County, including 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, heading north, south, and east we are now in moderate drought.Ìý East of 91³Ô¹ÏÍø, it’s abnormally dry and the forecast isn’t promising.Ìý
The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Department of Music will offer instrumental and vocal music lessons to the community this spring, and the last day to enroll is Jan. 17.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø will host a blood drive from 9 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Feb. 25 in the Technical Building in room T-186, the Case New Holland Training area.

Students who would have already saved thousands of dollars by attending 91³Ô¹ÏÍø can also save hundreds more thanks to an effort by the faculty to transition to no-cost materials or affordable texts. The concept is known in higher education as Open Educational Resources (OER).

As of December 7th the Drought Monitor shows our area as unchanged with just some abnormally dry conditions to the north/northeast of Great Bend.Ìý However, severe and extreme drought are continuing to expand
