91³Ô¹ÏÍø freshman art major Harley Headley of Russell is moving full-steam ahead towards his dream of traveling the world in pursuit of artistic endeavors, but he doesn’t let his end goal disrupt his acknowledgment of the importance of academic integrity along the way, specifically the value of courage.

Roughly 175 natural gas professionals visited the 91³Ô¹ÏÍø campus for the 35th annual Corrosion Control Seminar from Tuesday through Thursday this week. The seminar features two tracks that cover a variety of different topics from best practices for pipe coatings to rectifier training and more. There are numerous opportunities for hands-on training and experience throughout the week. The conference took place in the Case New Holland Training Facility in the Technical Building as well as in the Midwest Utility and Pipeline Training Center.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø has been providing affordable and accessible higher education to 91³Ô¹ÏÍø County for over 50 years, and thanks to a collaborative study with the Docking Institute at Fort Hays State University the College has been able to further confirm the economic benefit of the college to the county.

The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Music Department will host metropolitan opera singer Hugo Vera as part of an evening of music that will feature a masterclass portion at 4 p.m. in the Chapel and a concert at 7:30 p.m. in the Fine Arts Auditorium March 8.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø is reducing costs on online courses this spring for Kansas high school students from $155 per credit hour to $75. That’s a savings of over 50 percent per credit hour.
91³Ô¹ÏÍø invites students, faculty, staff, and community members to a celebratory groundbreaking event for the College’s new Ag and Transportation Complex at 3:30 p.m. Feb. 28 at the future site of the complex on the east side of campus.
