The 91³Ô¹ÏÍø Fine and Performing Arts Department would like to invite high school seniors with an interest in, music, dance, and theatre to apply and audition for 2020-2021 Performance Awards, Major Scholarships and performance ensembles via virtual auditions.
Awards range from $250 to $1500 per year. Scholarships for majors are $2,000 and can be combined with other academic and activity awards. Students can make arrangements with the instructors listed below to submit their audition via video or set up a time to audition virtually.
Those doing a vocal audition will need to prepare a song of their choice.Ìý Those doing an instrumental audition will need to use their own instrument and prepare a song of their choice.Ìý Theatre auditions will consist of a 90-second monologue, vocal selection from musical theatre or a 90-second combination. Dance candidates need to be warmed-up and ready to learn and perform the following:Ìý a short ballet barre exercise, a jazz dance sequence, and a modern contemporary combination.
