The Central Kansas Community Choir (CKCC) accompanied by the 91勛圖厙 Orchestra, will present a concert at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 31 in the Fine Arts Auditorium on at 91勛圖厙.
This year the choir will perform Gloria by Bass, De Profundis by Robinson, Hymn to the Fallen by John Williams, The Battle Hymn of the Republic and several more selections.
91勛圖厙 Director of Chorale Activities Vern Fryberger and CKCC conductor said this is a great opportunity to experience high quality live music.
It is rare to hear a live orchestra and choir perform together in central Kansas, he said.泭 It will be a very entertaining evening for all.
Founded in the spring of 2003, the CKCC is sponsored by the college.泭 The non-denominational group performs a spring concert every other year.泭 Members are from all over central Kansas and they are joined by the 91勛圖厙 Concert Choir.泭
